Also known as erythritol, erythritol is a virtually zero-calorie, natural, and tooth -friendly lower-carb & keto sugar substitute . The sweetening power corresponds to about 70% of the sweetening power of sugar. It is absolutely blood sugar neutral and therefore ideal for diabetics, ketorians and lower carbers.
Erythritol is the only one of the sugar alcohols or "polyols" that is 100% not utilized by the body. In other words, it has no calories, no usable carbohydrates and no effect on blood sugar.
What is special about our Erythritol Gold is that it has a mildly sweet, caramel-like taste that is very similar to brown sugar. Unfortunately, you can't caramelize erythritol or use it for candying, so Erythritol Gold is ideal for getting a delicious caramel taste and it's sugar-free!

Officially, it has to be declared as a carbohydrate in the nutritional information, but can be subtracted entirely as the body cannot absorb it and it has 0 caloric value.
Instructions for use:
Unlike most other sugar alcohols, erythritol is hardly hygroscopic, meaning it doesn't attract moisture. This makes its storage very easy.
Only in very high doses (> 2 g / kg body weight) does it cause the digestive problems that occur with other sugar alcohols even in lower doses (< 1 g / kg body weight).
Can have a laxative effect if consumed to excess.
Dosage:
< 2 g / kg body weight should not cause "resounding success".
